One Thing Needful Online Bible Study/Book Review

We are so excited to share together in ways that the Lord is helping us
know Him better.
This interactive Bible study has several purposes.
First, it is to help our readers learn to know God better. Our intended
audience for the book One Thing Needful, Finding Life in Loving God, is
twofold:
First, those who have already made loving God most their life goal and
highest priority, and who seek to find ways to love God more.
Second, Christians who seek to please God but have not yet found the fullest
joy in their salvation. If you feel that there must be more to your Christian
life, we seek to help you by showing you that a closer and deeper relationship
with Christ is what you are seeking for. It is the whole reason for life
itself!
We believe a hunger for God is not only taught, it is also caught. It
must be cultivated and carefully nurtured in order to be kept from the
distractions of the world. One of the best ways to protect and cultivate
desire for God is to share in meaningful friendships with others who seek
to do the same thing.
That is why we have designed an interactive Bible study with the text
of our new book, One Thing Needful. We hope you will be encouraged by
the text itself, and by the comments and posts that our friends post as
well.
Our second reason for this Bible study is to see how the text of our book has blessed you, and find ways to improve it to reach our target better. We are not looking for editing on our text (thought suggestions on that would be helpful too). Rather, this is our “test run” on the text, to see if and how it will inspire and encourage you, and get suggestions for making it more readable and understandable. We want to improve its message and you get to help us discover how. We want feedback on how it helps you to love God most!
About the Online, Interactive Bible Study
You don't have to be a computer whiz to join other Christians
in the Bible study. Doing the Bible study online means reading a portion
of the book, One Thing Needful, and then navigating to the page
corresponding to that section (See the chapter navigation bar to the left).
Come back to the site often to view other reader's comments and learn
from them and from the Moderator more ways to love God most!
One Thing Needful is a free online Bible study. You aren't required to do anything. We ask you to prayerfully submit feedback on our forums here (divided up by chapters to the left). However, if you can't, please feel free to take advantage of the book and read it without commenting.
We recommend that you read and comment on one chapter at a time. You are not required to follow a schedule in reviewing the book and participating in the Bible study, but keep in mind that our final edit is due this summer. We suggest that you download and comment on a chapter each week, at least. You are welcome to read and comment faster or slower than that, at your leisure.

These easy steps get you going:
- Download the first chapter OR the entire book. The book's files are in pdf and you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view them. You are encouraged to print them as needed, or request a hard copy of the manuscript (limited copies available).
- Prayerfully read through the chapter.
- As you read, jot down (or type up) your suggestions and thoughts.
- When you finish with the chapter, spend some time prayerfully reflecting on the message.
- Look through the Discussion Questions and think of some answers. These are found on the second-from-last page of every chapter.
- Ask the Lord to help you know how to apply the Application Questions (the last page of each chapter)
- POST your suggestions, thoughts, and ideas! REMEMBER anything you post is valuable to us! You are not required to post anything at all, but as much or as little as you can will all be helpful.
- Check back to the site to interact with other reviewers who are viewing
your response and giving their responses too. Be blessed!
